Automotive Composites

Mitras Automotive (UK) Ltd are a Tier 1 & 2 supplier of automotive composites. Specialising in SMC and GMT compression moulding for applications ranging from unseen structural components to A Class body panels. We supply automotive composites to most of the major car manufacturers.

Compression Moulding

Mitras Automotive (UK) Ltd specialise in compression moulding of automotive composites, particularly in SMC and GMT. On site there are 9 presses ranging from 600 tonnes to 3000 tonnes.

Automotive Painting

Mitras Automotive (UK) Ltd are a Tier 1 and 2 supplier of automotive painting and composite components to the automotive industry.

Our recently modified paint facility has been specifically designed to handle temperatures of up to 205oC mimicking Body-In-White conditions, allowing us to supply parts to all stages of manufacture.

We can deliver parts in a range of finishes from primed, conductive and normal, to “A” Class body panels. We currently supply a major OEM with a body panel in 11 different colours.
